The 2026 Honda Africa Twin Base  (CRF1100L) remains a carryover model, maintaining its focus as a nimble, off-road-capable adventure motorcycle. For 2026, it is available in two main configurations: a standard manual transmission and an optional Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). 

Core Specifications The base model is designed for riders who prefer a lighter, more aggressive off-road setup compared to the touring-heavy Adventure Sports trim.

• Engine: 1,084cc liquid-cooled Unicam® parallel-twin producing approximately 102 HP and 112 Nm (82.6 lb-ft) of torque.
• Wheels: Off-road standard 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
• Suspension: Fully adjustable Showa suspension with 9.0 inches of travel in the front (manual version).
• Technology: 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, cruise control, and a 6-axis IMU for lean-sensitive rider aids (Traction Control, Cornering ABS).
